Your privacy matters to us, and we are committed to protecting the information you share with us. This policy explains how information may be collected, used, and safeguarded when you visit our website. We believe your data belongs to you, and we are committed to handling it responsibly. Most importantly, we do not sell your personal information.

1. Information we collect

To register for and participate in our courses, we collect certain personal information necessary to process enrollment, provide course access, issue certificates, and communicate important course-related updates. This information includes your first and last name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, country of residence, and professional specialty.

For paid registrations, we may also collect billing and payment information, including credit or debit card details, expiration date, security code (CVV), and billing address, in order to process transactions securely.

If your course registration is being fully funded by a university, employer, or other sponsoring organization, payment information may not be required. In these cases, a promotional/registration code will be provided, allowing you to complete enrollment without submitting credit or debit card information.

We collect this information during the registration process, when you request information about our programs, contact our support team, register for events, participate in promotions, submit inquiries through our website, or complete surveys and feedback forms.

2. How we use your Information

We use the information we collect to provide and manage our courses and services. This includes processing registrations and payments, maintaining your account, communicating important course information, responding to questions and support requests, and providing updates about programs, events, or opportunities that may be relevant to you.

We may also use information to improve our website, enhance the user experience, conduct research and analysis, and ensure compliance with our policies and terms of use. When analyzing website activity and usage trends, data is reviewed in aggregate form and individual users are not personally identified.

3. Sharing and Disclosure Information

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share personal information with third parties for marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes.

We may share personal information only as necessary to operate our website, deliver our courses and services, process payments with trusted third party services, administer examinations, communicate with participants, or when required by law or legal process. Any such sharing is limited to what is necessary to provide these services and is done with appropriate safeguards in place.

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party service providers to support the operation of our website, courses, communications, payments, and related services. These providers process information on our behalf only as needed to perform their functions.

Our service providers include PayPal for payment processing; iContact and Mailchimp for email communications; LearnDash and GoDaddy for website hosting and course delivery; ClassMarker for examination administration; and Zoom for live webinar presentations.

For examinations, ClassMarker processes participant information necessary for exam administration and recordkeeping, which may include name, email address, exam responses, scores, completion status, and timing data such as start time, end time, and time spent on the exam.

For live webinars, participants may join Zoom sessions using the registration link provided and are not required to create a Zoom account.

These third-party providers maintain their own privacy policies and are responsible for how they handle the information required to provide their services.
